Obituary

Lylah Esme Luessenheide was born sleeping on November 12, 2015.  She is the daughter of Andrew and Briana Luessenheide.  For every life there is a story.  Some stories are longer than others; but it can be surprising how much impact a life can have on others in a very short time.  Andrew and Briana had a miracle.  They experienced the wonderful anticipation of another child, got to hear the heartbeat of a new life, saw the ultrasound pictures of their child, and felt the movement of an active baby.  They shared their excitement and anticipation with family and friends who started loving this baby even though none of us had even met her yet.

Lylah #LilacForLylah had a personality even though she had a very short time to express it during her prenatal development.  That is an experience that a father and mother never forget; an opportunity to feel connected to the life growing within her mother.    She had tiny fingers, feet and toes that will never be forgotten.  On the day of her birth Lylah’s parents and siblings were able to hold her and say good-bye.

Lylah Esme Luessenheide took a piece of our hearts with her to heaven.  Now we all feel like our hearts need to mend and we need all of you to help us.

Lylah was born sleeping on Thursday, November 12, 2015, at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia, Minnesota.

Parents, Andrew & Briana Luessenheide of St. Bonifacius, MN;
Brothers, Gauge and Ryker;
Sister, Minta.

Following the service, the family invites everyone to participate in a balloon release followed by a luncheon.
