Marcel G. Fasching

Obituary

Marcel George Fasching was born March 22, 1947, in Winsted, Minnesota, to Albert and Celestine (Dols) Fasching. He received his education in Winsted, Minnesota, and graduated with the Holy Trinity High School class of 1965.

On December 9, 1967, Marcel was united in marriage to Ruth Hoffmann. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Kelly and Jeremy.

On June 30, 1973, Marcel was united in marriage to Patricia Ziermann at Zion Lutheran Church in Mayer, Minnesota. They were blessed with three sons, Jared, Matthew, and Andrew.

Marcel retired from Rosemount Engineering after 30 years as an electrician. He was a very sociable person with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially camping, fishing, golfing, hunting, and snowmobiling. When his sons were younger, he enjoyed coaching their baseball teams. He looked forward to attending parties and getting together with his family on the holidays. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his family, relatives, and friends.

Marcel passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023, at The Gardens at Winsted in Winsted, Minnesota, at the age of 76 years old. Blessed be his memory.
