So sorry to hear of this loss. She was a wonderful teacher and friend of the 2nd Street neighborhood while I was growing up. I remember many days riding bike around the neighborhood and she andSid would always make time to chat and check on all us kids.

Thank you Katie. Mom loved teaching. Someone was always saying ‘Hi Mrs. Kuphal’ when we were out & about. The neighbors on 2nd street were the best. Both mom & dad enjoyed it when the kids and neighbors would stop by to say ‘Hi’.
Thank you for the kind words.

Mrs. Kuphal made kindergarten so fun! I can still smell her classroom sometimes and it makes me think of her and Mrs.Goetsch. She was such a gentle teacher and I am thankful to have had her for a teacher.
