Service Information
Marianne W. Huebert, age 90, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, July, 10, 2016, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016, at 11:00 A.M., at Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson, with interment at Oakland Cemetery in Hutchinson.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson.

Obituary
Marianne W. Huebert was born on June 11, 1926, in Wurzburg, Germany. She was the daughter of Karl and Margaret Hug. Marianne was baptized as an infant in 1926, and later confirmed in her faith as a youth in 1941, at a Catholic church in Wurzburg, Germany. She received her education and graduated in Wurzburg, Class of 1943. She continued her education and received a nursing degree as a Registered Nurse in Wurzburg, Germany.
In 1946, Marianne was united in marriage to Lawrence Morse in Wurzburg, Germany. She moved to the United States in 1948, to a farm near Redwood Falls, Minnesota. They then moved to Morgan, Minnesota, and then to Hutchinson, Minnesota, in 1955. This marriage was blessed with four children, Marion, Lawrence Jr., Patricia, Chuck.
Marianne learned to speak four different languages, German, French, English, and Latin. During the war, she worked as an English translator for the US Core of Engineer in Germany. In addition, she helped at her father’s bookstore and worked as a book binder. After moving to the United States, she worked at Burns Manor and was later employed at Hutchinson Health (formerly Hutchinson Community Hospital) in Hutchinson. She retired in 1988. She continued to work part-time until 1993.
Marianne enjoyed fishing, reading, knitting, and crocheting. She knitted many prayer shawls for the Congregational church in Hutchinson. Marianne also enjoyed going to lunch with her friends and camping with her daughter, Marion, at her lake home on the weekends. She especially cherished spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, family, and friends.

Marianne is preceded in death by her Parents, Karl and Margaret Hug, First Husband, Lawrence Morse in 1967; Second Husband, Dr. Dan Huebert in 2002; Son, Lawrence E. Morse, Jr. in1963; Son-In-Law, David Drahos in 2007; Brother, Hans Hug in 2009.
