Service Information
Marion Buboltz, age 87, of Fairfax, formerly of Hector, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017, at the Fairfax Community Home in Fairfax, Minnesota.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Wellington Township, rural Fairfax, with interment in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017, for two hours prior to the service, from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M., all at Emanuel Lutheran Church.
Obituary
Marion Margreta Buboltz was born June 3, 1930 in Brown County, Minnesota, the daughter of Ferdinand and Margreta (Dahms) Ruschmeyer. She was baptized on June 15, 1930, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Gibbon, Minnesota, and confirmed in her faith there on May 14, 1930. Marion grew up in rural Gibbon, and attended school in Moltke Township.
On May 6, 1951, Marion was united in marriage to Orley Buboltz at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Gibbon. They made their home in Martinsburg Township where they raised their four children, Wayne, Brenda, Kevin, and Kathy. Marion was a busy farm wife and mother, and also did factory work for 20 years. When Marion and Orley sold their home, they moved into Prairie View of Hector. They had shared 62 years of marriage when Orley passed away on July 1, 2013. Marion continued to live at Prairie View until July 1, 2017 when she moved into the Assisted Living Plus at the Fairfax Community Home.
Marion was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Wellington Township.

Brenda Hall and her Husband, Donavon, of Esko, Minnesota,
Kathy Redmann and her Husband, Arvid, of Stewart, Minnesota;
Daughter-in-law, Cheryl Buboltz of Silver Lake, Minnesota;
Grandchildren: Chris Buboltz, Steph Buboltz, Ryan Hall, Kyle Hall, Jennifer (Redmann) Melberg, Jason Redmann, Nicole Redmann, Melissa Redmann;
Step-Grandchildren: Jennifer Hall, Colleen (Hall) Larreau, James (Bratch) Buboltz;
Great-Grandchildren: Hunter Melberg, Olivia Buboltz, Jack Buboltz, and Noah Redmann;
Step-Great-Grandchildren: Taylor Larreau, Josie Larreau, Karly Larreau, Kenzie Larreau, April Canaday, Henry Hall, Jameson Buboltz, Karlson Buboltz;

Marion was preceded in death by her Parents, Ferdinand and Margreta Ruschmeyer, Son, Kevin Buboltz, Daughter-in-law Pat (Mrs. Wayne) Buboltz; Brothers: Harvey, Harry, Milton, Herman, Roland, and Willmer; Sisters: Alice, Irene, Valeria, and Marlene, Sisters-in-law Virgine Ruschmeyer, and Viola Ruschmeyer.
