To our dear friend and neighbor Lynn; Matt’s sisters’ Julie and Amanda and to all who loved Matt.

We are so very, very sorry for your loss and pray that we will all know the peace of our Lord which passes all understanding – now and in the days ahead.

So many sweet memories of Matt as a precious tiny baby, as a little guy playing at our house while his mom worked, and all the shenanigans shared by him, Julie and our kids. Those summers of days gone by.

Then as a grown man always friendly and helpful. Gene always enjoyed a quick chat and chuckle with him. We liked him and are proud of him and his accomplishments.

And we love you and extend our heartfelt sympathy and prayers for God’s comfort and blessings to each of you.

My prayers to all of Matt’s family! I got to know him at 3M, when I was waiting to have a Hip replacement surgery, I got to work with him in the club building, we ordered from Jimmy Johns on afternoon shift, discussed fantasy football and up north- Grand Marais, Duluth and Ely, I sure miss them times! Til we meet again Matt!

Sending love and sympathy to Brianne and Cameron and Family and friends. Although we didn’t know Matt well, it was apparent from pictures and posts that there was a lot of love between you! Cherish those memories and hold each other close. Love you dear niece. Jackie and Billy Eggers

One thing I remember about Matt is driving around Hutchinson (late 90’s) in a little white Escort GT listening to Matt’s new binge worthy song. We would drive all over, having long discussions about girls and relationships, only to be paused by Matt saying “one last time Joey” and replaying the new song that would somehow reflect on how we felt at the time.
You will be missed Matt. Love you buddy.

We will miss you matt… I can’t say we’ve met a nicer guy, coworker or friend. You were the most caring person to everyone, you were always helping people. I wish we could have helped you more. Thank you for always being the person everyone needed. I pray you found peace and that you are surrounded by everything you loved. Prayers for all your family, and friends. You will be deeply missed…

Thank you all for your comments It’s comforting to know how well he was liked being the quite person I knew him as. His life was a struggle from birth on and it was a joy to watch him grow out of the cocoon and become the man he is. He will be missed dearly by his family. Thank You All!!

Let’s not forget Matt’s honorable service to his country on veterans day.

…and time passes as it always does, you can be sure I’ll see you one day.
