I worked with Nancy for many years at NWA. I remember one day in particular, seeing her wearing a beret and dressed in a colorful outfit. All that
was missing from her ensemble was a paintbrush and canvas. I nicknamed her “Monet” after the French impressionist artist. For whatever reason, the
name caught on and over the years, actually became a term of endearment. So, in parting, let’s raise a toast to the Monet we knew. Cheers and RIP
Monet.

I have known Nancy for over 50 years. We first met working in Glacier Park and maintained out friendship through the years. As one mutual friend said, Nancy was a Glacier Park Institution. We had a memorable trip to Ireland and Nancy returned for many more. I will remember her laugh and smile and always think of her on a mountain trail in Glacier. She will be missed. Condolences to Roger and to all who knew her.

My condolences to Nancy’s family and her wide circle of friends. I originally met Nancy while we were working in Glacier National Park. Years later there was a familiar face on the crew bus in Minneapolis (Republic Airlines at the time). We quickly became reacquainted and exchanged contacts. She was an enthusiastic traveler and I always enjoyed hearing about her worldwide journeys! After I moved to Montana she would stop by for visits on her annual summer treks to GNP, often with her good friend Cozette. From what she was producing in her gardens to her wordly ventures I was always happy to share times with such a happy soul. Miss you Nancy
