Norah Mullan, age 92, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson.
Memorial Services will be Tuesday, December 20, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Hutchinson with interment in Oakland Cemetery in Hutchinson.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be Tuesday, December 20, 2016, from 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Hutchinson.
Memorials are preferred to the Alzeimer's Association.

Obituary
Norah Maud Mants was born on December 15, 1923, in Battleford, Saskatchewan; Canada. She was the daughter of Gertrude and John Mants. Norah was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in her faith as a youth. She was raised and educated in Battleford, Saskatchewan.
In 1945, Norah moved to Vancouver, British Columbia to attend business college. While in Vancouver, she met and married William Mullan in 1947. This marriage was blessed with four children. William and Norah lived in Vancouver, British Columbia, Ellendale; North Dakota; Edina and Hutchinson, Minnesota. They shared 62 years of marriage until William's death on August 14, 2009.
Norah held employment with the Canadian government while in Vancouver. While in North Dakota, William and Norah farmed with his father. Norah was a stay at home mother while the family lived in Edina. They moved to Hutchinson in 1959. After her children were in school, Norah was employed as a bookkeeper by Bonniwell Implement of Hutchinson and Buffalo Lake, Minnesota. Later, she worked for Allen Office Products in Hutchinson until she retired in 1988.
Norah was a former member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Hutchinson, and later joined Christ the King Lutheran Church. Norah served on the board of directors of the Hutchinson Hospital and volunteered with the Hutchinson Hospital Auxiliary. Norah was very musical. She loved to play the piano and listen to music...everything from "Bach to Rock." She enjoyed knitting, counted cross stitch, crossword puzzles, computer card games, and bridge club. Above anything, Norah enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved playing cards and cribbage with her grandchildren and took delight in her great grandchildren.
For twenty years William and Norah spent their winters in Mission, Texas where they loved playing bridge with friends. Norah volunteered with the Mission school system where she tutored Hispanic students in English.
In September 2012, she became a resident of Cedar Crest Estates in Silver Lake. In January 2013, she transferred to Harmony River Living Center. She passed away there on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at the age of 92.

Deryk Randt and his wife, Abbey of Bloomington, MN,
Lindsey Randt of Minneapolis, MN,
Madison Kalenberg of Glencoe, MN;
great grandchildren Tyler Erlandson, Conner Erlandson, Colin Thompson, and Adelyn Thompson; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Norah is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Gertrude Mants, husband William Mullan, sisters Betty Mants and Esther Pokrupa; brothers, Jim Mants and David Mants, and step grandson, Justin Kalenberg.
