Obituary
Orlen Orville Jensrud, born on October 16, 1942, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 29th, in Hutchinson, Minnesota, surrounded by his grandchildren and children. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Rhonda and his son Kenny, who passed away only a few weeks ago.
Orlen was also preceded in death by his first love, Cindy, who gave him three children: Candace, currently residing in California, and Carrie and Kenny, both of Hutchinson.
Affectionately known to many as "Mr. O," Orlen was born to Orville and Doris Jensrud and raised on a farm in Duquet, Minnesota. He was the eldest of 13 children: Dean (deceased), Gordy (deceased), Muriel (deceased), Lorrine (deceased), Leeland, Carol, Cindy, Nancy, Lenny, Gilbert, Earl, and Douglas.
Orlen worked as a truck driver for many years until he had to retire following an accident caused by another driver. He later suffered a heart attack and strokes, and experienced the loss of his second wife, Rhonda. He shared two children with Rhonda: Andrya and David, who currently reside in Oklahoma. After his health issues, his children from California, Oklahoma, and Minnesota took over his care, enabling him to continue traveling the countryside he loved.
He adored and cherished his 15 grandchildren: Wesley, Derrek, Caitlin, Kyrsten, Maryssa, Kolten, Blaine, Gavin, Daxton, Rowen, Cloie, Lotus, Kaydence, and Dakota, Jacob.
Orlen was a kind, generous, and hard-working man with an infectious laugh. He had a positive word for everyone he met and was known as the sweetest man, always willing to help others, even if it meant giving the shirt off his back.
He loved a good meatloaf, pie, ice cream, and cookies, and enjoyed sharing these treats with his family. Orlen will be deeply missed by many. May he rest in peace.

Orlen was there for my whole family in California when my dad was so ill. He was a pillar of strength and support when we were so broken. What a special man he truly shared love.
