Patricia “Patty” A. Kummet, age 88, of Shakopee, Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee, Minnesota.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Hutchinson, with interment in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Obituary
Patricia “Patty” Ann Kummet was born on September 26, 1935, in Morris, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Philip and Agnes (Dauer) Egan. Patty received her education in Eden Valley, Minnesota, and was a graduate of the Eden Valley High School.
On September 7, 2013, Patty was united in marriage to Bernard “Jon” Kummet at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Shakopee, Minnesota. They resided in Shakopee. Patty and Jon shared 10 years of marriage.
Patty enjoyed painting and making greeting cards. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Patty passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee, at the age of 88 years. Blessed be her memory.

Husband, Jon Kummet of Shakopee, MN, formerly of Hutchinson, MN;
Daughter, Debra Finnessy and her husband, Richard of LeClaire, IA;
Son, Douglas Spaeth and his wife, Kristen of Chaska, MN;
Grandchildren, Katherine Munson and her husband, Ned, Ryan Finnessy and his wife, Kimberly, David Finnessy and his wife, Alexandria, Nicholas Spaeth and his wife, Kimberly, Maxwell Spaeth and his wife, Alyssa, Kathleen VanTieghem and her husband, Jared;
Great-grandchildren, Malone Munson, Willow Finnessy, Ramona Spaeth, Elliette Munson, Averett Finnessy, Leo Finnessy, Emery Spaeth, Brielle Finnessy, Wylder Munson, Sebastian Finnessy, Hartwell Munson, Colette Spaeth;
Sister-in-law, Kathy Egan of Hugo, MN;
Stepson, Brian Kummet and his wife, Jeanne of Aberdeen, SD;
Step-granddaughter, Destiny Kummet of Aberdeen, SD;
Many other relatives and friends.
Patty is preceded in death by her Parents, Philip and Agnes Egan; Brother, James Egan; Brother-in-law, Thomas Stafford.
