Pedro Gonzalez, age 94, of Fairfax passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016, at the Golden Living Center in Franklin.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, April 28, 1:00 P.M. at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairfax.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Obituary
Pedro Gonzalez was born on November 27, 1921, in Guanajuato, Mexico. He was the son of Panfilo and Prajedes (Rezendez) Gonzalez. Pedro was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed as a youth in the Catholic faith.
Pedro was united in marriage to Josefina Campos in Mexico. He was employed as a Sergeant for the police department in Mexico. In the 1940s, they moved to California where he worked for the Santa Fe Railroad, and later moved to Idaho and Minnesota.
Pedro was a quiet man who enjoyed writing and playing guitar. He loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
Pedro passed away at the Golden Living Center in Franklin on Saturday, April 23, 2016, at the age of 94 years. Blessed be his memory.
Pedro is survived by his:
Children, Alicia, Reyna, Guillermina, Jose Manuel, Ricardo, Audelia, and Roberto;
28 Grandchildren, Juan, Michael, Margarita, Guadalupe, Lourdes, Jose, Reyna, Rosalva, Patricia, Carmen, Elena, Miguel, Manuel, Lila, Diana, Manuel, Sergio, William, Maritza, Mayra, Jorge, Vanessa, Hugo, Alejandro, Roberto, Luis, Ivvon, and Ivan;
10 Great-Grandchildren;
Siblings, MaElena and Gloria;
Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pedro was preceded in death by his Parents, Panfilo and Prajedes (Rezendez) Gonzalez; Wife, Josefina Gonzalez; and Brothers, Alfonso and Guadalupe Gonzalez.
