Robert “Rabbit” Reinitz, age 63, of Norwood Young America, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 15, 2022, at his home.
A Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from 5:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Paul-McBride Funeral Chapel in Norwood Young America.
Obituary
Robert “Bob” Wayne Reinitz was born on November 6, 1958, in Waconia, Minnesota. He was the son of Wayne and Margaret (Mullins) Reinitz. The eldest of four children, Bob grew up on the family farm near Norwood Young America which fostered a love of hobby farming.
Bob married Terry Whitaker on November 25, 1978. Bob and Terry raised three sons on the family farm. They shared 43 years of marriage.
To many he was affectionately known as Rabbit. Bob had a love for horses, hard work, hunting, ice fishing, beer, and singing classic country.
Bob had a talent for working on engines. He was a mechanic and ran his own shop, Rabbit’s Repair, in Cologne.
Robert “Bob” Reinitz, a longtime resident of Norwood Young America, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022, at his home at age 63. Blessed be his memory.
Robert is survived by his:
Wife, Terry (Whitaker) Reinitz;
Children, Jason Reinitz and his wife, Jami of Cologne, MN,
Jeremy Reinitz and his wife, Summer of Glencoe, MN,
Jerad Reinitz of Norwood Young America, MN;
Grandchildren, Robert Reinitz, Jaelyn Reinitz, Harper Reinitz, Weston Reinitz, Jacob Reinitz;
Mother, Margaret (Dave Walker) Reinitz of Lakeville, MN;
Stepmother, Donna Reinitz of Glencoe, MN;
Siblings, Ross Reinitz of Norton, KS,
Bonnie Lindeman of St. Cloud, MN;
Nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his Father, Wayne Reinitz; Siblings, Joyce Bauernfeind, Jeanne Reinitz and Bruce Lindeman.
