Ronald A. Radunz, age 86, husband of Carole, of rural Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023.
Private Family Memorial Services have been held.
Obituary
Ronald Arthur Radunz was born on March 30, 1937, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. He was the son of Arthur and Irene “Rena” (Wilke) Radunz. Ron was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in his faith as a youth, both at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. He received his education in Hutchinson, and was a graduate of the Hutchinson High School Class of 1955.
On August 18, 1977, Ron was united in marriage to Carole Brodin in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ron had one son, Randy, and three step-sons, Dean, Jon, and Jim. Ron and Carole resided in Acoma Township, rural Hutchinson. They shared 46 years of marriage.
Ron was a hard-working, long-time farmer in rural Hutchinson. After he retired from farming, Ron owned and operated Radunz Sand & Gravel, just north of Hutchinson. He continued working and driving heavy equipment until this past November. Ron was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. He was also a member of the Hutchinson Elks Lodge, Gopher Campfire Conservation Club, and Cedar Mills Gun Club. Ron was also the State President of TPA.
Ron enjoyed playing cards, especially poker and looked forward to weekly games with his poker buddies, and wintering in Florida. He cherished spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.
Ron passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at the age of 86 years.

Step-sons, Dean Kaldahl and his wife, Lisa,
Jon Kaldahl,
Jim Kaldahl and his wife, Carri;

Six Great-grandchildren;
Many other relatives and friends.
Ron is preceded in death by his Parents, Arthur and Rena Radunz.
