Obituary
Ronald Ray Fausch was born on June 21, 1963, in Hutchinson, Minnesota, to Richard and Carolyn (Benson) Fausch. He was baptized and confirmed at Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. Ron graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1982 and continued his education at St. Cloud Technical College, where he studied drafting. Ron was employed by Robert Thomas Homes as a cost estimator.
Ron was a proud father of two sons, Tyler and Weston. He cherished time spent at his cabin in Fifty Lakes, Minnesota, where he enjoyed relaxing on his pontoon, playing fetch with the dogs while listening to the Power Loon, and soaking up the sunshine in the captain’s chair. Ron was especially fond of Fifty Lakes Days, which turned into an annual celebration including darts, bingo, and becoming meat hogs. In the fall, he looked forward to deer hunting adventures and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings and Wild. Holidays spent with family were particularly special to Ron.
Ron is preceded in death by his Parents, Richard and Carolyn Fausch; Sister, Denise; Grandparents, Walter and Bertha Benson, and August and Anna Fausch.
Ron is survived by his
Sons, Tyler and Weston Fausch of Apple Valley;
Sister, Ronda, and her husband, Paul Herbolsheimer, of Winsted, MN;
Niece, Casey, who affectionately knew him as “the king” since birth;
Nephew, Curtis, along with his wife, Heather, and their son, Ron’s great-nephew, Jack David.
