Rose Frances Wagner, age 92, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 5, 2024, 11:00 A.M., at Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, with interment in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Stewart, Minnesota.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 5, 2024, from 9:30-11:00 A.M., 1 ½ hours prior to the service at the church.
Obituary
Rose Frances Wagner was born on March 30, 1931, in Olivia, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Frank and Emma Coufal.
On November 26, 1949, Rose was united in marriage to James Wagner at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Stewart, Minnesota. This marriage was blessed with one daughter and four sons.
Rose enjoyed many activities throughout her life which included gardening both flowers and vegetables, sewing, and quilting. She enjoyed listening to old-time music and going to dances. Her true passion was cooking and baking for her loved ones.
Rose passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson, at the age of 92 years. Blessed be her memory.

Children, Carol (Roger) Zieman,
Brice (Karen) Wagner,
Richard (Carol) Wagner,
Keith Wagner,
Brian Wagner;
12 Grandchildren;
27 Great-Grandchildren;
Many other relatives and friends.
Rose is preceded in death by her Husband, James Wagner; and Daughter-in-law, Mary Wagner.

Rose was the sweetest lady! She used to come into my shoe store all the time and we’d visit for the longest time.
I loved visiting with her!
I even visited her in the nursing home once.
I enjoyed talking with her so much!
My mom worked with her at the Hutch newspaper and loved her as well. And visited her in the nursing home a few times.
