Dawn, Denise, It is with deep sadness that I learn about the passing of Ruth. As a kid growing up in Hutch and in my faith at Grace Lutheran it was the quiet examples of your mom and dad and others at Grace that I admired and looked up to along with my parents. Yet, on the other hand, I envy Ruth…she is home with her Savior. May the Lord bless you and keep you, Mark Santelman (Winthrop, MN)

Ruth was a sweetheart of a lady! I ran into her several times while we were shopping at Shopko. During Covid I checked in with her a couple of times to see if there was anything she needed — with all the friends she has in the area, she was well covered! I’ll miss seeing her smile in unexpected places. Blessings to her family. What a joy that you can rest in knowing you will see her again one day. Find comfort in the memories.

Life happens and we didn’t see each other much in later years but the memories are still there. Hugs to all of you as you deal with the changes in your lives.

Dear Ruth’s family,
I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. Ruth was an amazing mentor to me in high school when I worked for her at Her Special Day. She and my mother, Ellie, were especially close and Ruth had sent notes online for my own mothers memorial. Reconnecting will have to wait for heaven. My heart feels so sad at this news. Prayers to you all.
