Family of Stan,
May God’s Peace give you comfort during this time of loss of Stan. When he became manager of the Stewart division for Farmer’s Elevator in 1978, he gained the respect of the area farmers and employees of Farmers Elevator very quickly because of his work ethic, honesty and integrity. He will never be forgotten from all of us that were priviledged to know him.

Dorothy Prahl says
Tyson, Tyler and Torey,
My sympathies to you on the loss of your Dad. He was your biggest fan no matter what you were up to. From Mite hockey to skating in the Regional and State tournaments, T-ball to Legion baseball and playing at the Metrodome; throwing football in the yard to Friday night games with the Tigers. He was so proud to watch you become humble athletic leaders and fierce competitors at all levels. He was always ready to sprint you and your friends around the lake on boards and tubes or teach the fine art of patience for fishing; snowmobiling with your friends and families; taking a trip to Mexico to see Tyson at the Lone Tree, Colorado to see Tyler, and buying the video gear for Torey to enjoy the ride. He loved being a Grandpa, proud of the kids and the Dad you are, Tyler. He was proud of the career choices you made. Find joy in the memories of time spent with your biggest supporter.
Thoughts and prayers, Mom
Steve, my sympathies to you on the loss of your brother and the dream that you could work with Stan on the farm during the busy seasons. He would have enjoyed that.
Thoughts and prayers, Dorothy
Brian Murphy says
Tyler,
Stan was one of the great ones. You were lucky to have him as a father. Your mom’s message couldn’t be any more true. Such great memories over the years. I remember many of those times and glad your dad was always willing to let you drag your friends along to have some fun. He lived life to the fullest through his family and friends and was a great example for his boys to follow.
Take care,
Brian Murphy

To the Stan Prahl family,
I had the pleasure to work with Stan at UFC from 2010 to 2019. As he helped manage our chemical inventory/supplies to make sure our sales team had the tools and supplies to help our growers make good agronomic chemistry decisions. Although our personalities were very different (calm and collected) vs me (going 100 MPH trying to sell stuff) he always had the calming effect to say, Chad it’ll be just fine. We will find more chemy if needed. We could sit in his office and as I bombarded him with what if’s, he never wavered. Calm cool and collected. I’ve missed his leadership ever since I left. Now we will all miss him but someday will be reunited in heaven. May our Lord bless and comfort you all during this time of mourning.

Our sympathy to Stan’s family….Stan and Ronda were our neighbors at Lake Marion and they were the best!! Loved chatting with Stan about life and we shared many visits and a few beers on our decks while we lived there. Celebrated many Christmas with our neighbors that were special times. Ronda and Stan were so thoughtful to both Keith and I when we’re already living in Hutch but sick with Covid. They delivered meals to our home. So happy we shared many good times with Stan. A sweet thoughtful man gone too soon. Hugs to all of you??
