Stella J. Rauch

Obituary

Stella Jane Rauch was born on January 12, 1924, in Hutchinson Township, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Charley and Elsie (Bell) Jerabek. Stella was baptized as an adult on February 27, 1948.  She received her education in Hutchinson and continued her education at the University Farm School in St. Paul, Minnesota.

On July 19, 1948, Stella was united in marriage to Clarence Rauch at Main Street Lutheran Church, currently Faith Lutheran Church, in Hutchinson. This marriage was blessed with 12 children, Gerald, Priscilla, Rosemary, Lois, Jerome, Shari, Mark, Eugene, Sheila, Edwin, Patsy, and Dawn. Stella and Clarence resided near Hutchinson, where Stella and Clarence were dairy farmers. Stella was a lifelong member of Hutchinson and she was blessed to live on the same country road for 93 years. They shared 53 years of marriage together until Clarence passed away on February 25, 2002.

Stella was an active member of Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. She was also a member of Bear Lake Sunshine Club and McLeod County Extension.

Stella enjoyed sewing, quilting, baking, and gardening. She also enjoyed taking care of her cattle and any Church involvement that she was a part of. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and friends.

Stella passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017, in Hutchinson, at the age of 93 years.
