I didn’t know Lenny well, but I had associations wirh him when I worked at the grocery store. He was a man that knew what he needed and was not rude about having to wait or come back again. He seemed like a very kind man.

What a guy! Lenny was such a supporter of baseball in Fairfax. As a former Cardinal I will always remember Lenny for his contributions and tireless support of the team and the individuals who played. I have such fond memories of him at the park, then at the lounge after the games. Lenny was a one of a kind! Mr. Fairfax! The town he loved and promoted most of his adult life. We will miss you!

Lenny had a big heart and was always so accepting. He welcomed me back to Fairfax over 20 years ago. He watched our children grow up and served them kiddie cocktails. He even worked with our oldest. The world was a better place with you here. Heaven will be amazing with you up there. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family and close friends.
Jeff McCarron says
Over two years have passed since Lenny died. I didn’t know about it until today. I was shocked. I was having a post-youth tournament beer and meal in Hutchinson, MN, with a friend when one of the TV’s all of a sudden had Lenny on it! Lenny on TV! It was a town team baseball story. I hadn’t seen him for a few years. We have had a long friendship since he was the first person to welcome me to Fairfax in the summer of 1975. He was indeed one of the kindest, sweetest people I have ever known. He could never say a bad thing about anyone. Tonight I discovered this obituary and noticed his birthday – it was today. April 18. Somehow, he reached out to let me know he had passed…and we had one final beer together. I’m so sad to have lost such a wonderful friend. Bonnie or Joe, if you read this, send me a text at 320-290-3497. I would like to hear more details.
