Susan Ling, age 60, of Glencoe, Minnesota, passed away Friday, December 1, 2017, at Glencoe Regional Health Services Long Term Care in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2017, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Obituary
Susan Doreen (Simonson) Ling was born on July 16, 1957 to Irvin and Dorothy (Swensen) Simonson in Wells, Minnesota. She was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth. Susan graduated from Kiester High School. She attended Mankato State in Mankato, Minnesota and received a Bachelor Degree in Hotel Restaurant Institutional Management at the University of Minnesota in Crookston, Minnesota.
Susan was united in marriage to Ralph Ling on September 4, 1982, at St. Casimer Church in Wells, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with three children, Oliver, Anthony and Elizabeth. They lived in Mankato, Kasota and most recently in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Susan was employed at Coborn’s Inc. as a Deli Supervisor. She enjoyed baking cookies, cooking and vacationing in Mazatlán, Mexico. Susan also loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her 2 grandchildren.
Susan passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017, at Glencoe Regional Health Services Long Term Care in Glencoe, Minnesota, at the age of 60 years, 4 months and 15 days.

Sisters, Kathy Simonson of Blue Earth, MN,
Darla Kenyon of Victoria, MN,

Marsha Henderson and her husband, Steve, of Atlanta, GA;
Nieces, Nephews, Other relatives and friends.
Susan is preceded in death by her Parents, Irvin and Dorothy.

Sorry for your lose. Sue was a wonderful deli manager. She put in many hours and made sure everything looked nice in the cases. I always think of the good times we had the 3 years I worked with Sue! Surprisingly we both had roots back in southern Minnesota.
