Service Information
Tammie I. Dehn, age 63, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.
Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, with interment in Oakland Cemetery in Hutchinson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Obituary
Tammie Irene Dehn was born on June 16, 1961, in Watertown, South Dakota. She was the daughter of Robert and Delores (Reihe) Ward. Tammie was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in her faith as a youth at First United Methodist Church in Watertown. She received her education in Watertown, and was a graduate of the Watertown High School Class of 1979.
On February 11, 1984, Tammie was united in marriage to Peter Dehn at First United Methodist Church in Watertown. This marriage was blessed with two daughters, Jenna and Taryn.
After marriage, Tammie joined her husband in the Army. She was an incredibly supportive, caring and devoted Military Spouse until the retirement of her husband. Tammie took great pride in helping young military spouses cope with the military life often saying…. “this is the way it is.”
Tammie went to school in Fountain, Colorado, for Cosmetology in 1993. She was co-owner of Shear Excellence Hair Salon in Security Colorado.
After moving to Hutchinson, Minnesota, Tammie was employed at Glencoe Long Term Health. She then went to school to become a Medical Receptionist and began working at Regional Eye Clinic. Most recently, she was employed as a Patient Access Scheduler at Hutchinson Health.
Tammie enjoyed scrapbooking, crafting, and making things with her Cricut machine. She also enjoyed planting flowers, camping, her dogs, and watching her grandson, Gabrick, play football. Tammie had a talent to plan social events for friends and family. She loved to socialize and entertain, and very much cherished the time spent with her family, grandchildren, and friends.
She had a very special love and devotion to her grandbabies, Gabrick and Mina.
Tammie passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024, with her husband, Pete at her side at Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, at the age of 63 years.

Sisters-in-law, Linda Toltzman and her husband, Chuck of Winthrop, MN,
Sarah Hoffmann and her husband, Dan of Sleepy Eye, MN;
Many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Tammie is preceded in death by her Parents, Robert and Delores Ward; Father- and Mother-in-law, Vernon and Lillian Dehn.
