Dave White says
Tom sure tolerated me. Much more than tolerated. I was the little brother of his girlfriend, and bride. Looking back, I think I was probably hanging around Elaine quite a bit. But I never felt that from Tom. I popped into their house, unannounced, many many times. He always welcomed me, loved me, and treated me like he was happy to have me.
Tom treated me so great. When I would ask him to take me to the Dodger game, he would take me. When I would ask him to take me fishing, he would take me. We had a lot of fun together.
Tom loved to teach me things. I received quite a few long lectures from him. Not about morals. About how radios worked, about how telescopes worked, and things like that. He took the time for me. Maybe you’ve had the same experiences.
I always loved Tom. We named our only son after him, Kevin Thomas White. He was such a lovable, jolly guy. We all loved him, and were so blessed to have him in our lives.
“Thank you, Lord, for Tom.”
