Timothy A. Wakefield, age 62, husband of Carol, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at NC Little Hospice Facility in Edina, Minnesota.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, with interment in Oakland Cemetery in Hutchinson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2024, from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorials preferred.
Obituary
Timothy “Tim” Allen Wakefield was born on May 12, 1962, in Wells, Minnesota. He was the son of Frank and Janet (Haugen) Wakefield. Tim was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in his faith as a youth at American Lutheran Church. He received his education in Albert Lea, Minnesota, and was a graduate of the Albert Lea High School Class of 1980.
On March 7, 1981, Tim was united in marriage to Carol Kenning at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, Minnesota. This marriage was blessed with three sons, Timothy Jr., Travis, and Tyler. Tim and Carol resided in Hutchinson. They shared 43 years of marriage.
Tim was employed as a cabinet maker for Goebel Fixture Company in Hutchinson for 41 years. Tim was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson.
Tim enjoyed fishing, boating, and camping at Cokato Lake. He especially enjoyed watching his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events. Tim cherished spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.
Tim passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at N.C. Little Hospice Facility in Edina, Minnesota, at the age of 62 years.
