Walter Howard Coriell, age 99, of Hutchinson, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2016, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson.
Funeral Services will be held at a later date.
Obituary
Walter Howard Coriell was born on November 9, 1916, in Columbus, Ohio. He was the son of Clarence and Nellie (Patterson) Coriell. Walter was baptized as an infant, and later confirmed in his faith as a youth. He received his education at Steele High School in Dayton, OH.
Walter entered active military service in the United States Navy and served his country. He received an Honorable Discharge.
On November 5, 1940, Walter was united in marriage to Pauline Trimble in Covington, KY. This marriage was blessed with four sons, Edward, Terry Joe, Bradley and Tracy. Walter and Pauline resided in Hutchinson, MN. They shared 73 years of marriage until Pauline passed away on August 24, 2014.
Walter worked in construction as an Iron Worker building power plants for Iron Workers Local #290. He retired in 1981.
Walter enjoyed traveling and walking his dog, Cleo. He also enjoyed spending time with his son Tracy for their Friday Breakfast. He cherished spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.
When Walter needed help with his daily care, he became a resident at Harmony River Living Center on August 19, 2011. He passed away there on Friday, May 6, 2016 at the age of 99 years.

Tracy Coriell and his wife, Linnea of Hutchinson, MN;
