I worked with Potter in the early to mid 80s. I was terrified of her initially but grew to love her and the entire night team. She taught me good nursing and the need to function as a team. I modeled my charge nurse skills after her after I married and moved away. For our wedding she traveled over 2 hrs for our reception while working nights. Newton loved working with wood and made me a mini hope chest.
PS I played for one of your weddings in St Cloud back in the day
