Prayers to you all. Bill was such a wonderful man. One funny memory I had of him was several years ago, I was going to have grandma teach me to make spinach dumpling soup. She told me to get bacon ends from the Darwin Butcher. I stopped in to buy some and Bill was working. He hadn’t seen me in years. He asked what do you need bacon ends for. So, I told him, and he said really? My mother used to make spinach dumpling soup. I thought it was a Wimmer thing. I giggled and said, Bill you’re my great uncle, I am Theresa’s grand daughter. It is a Wimmer thing, silly.

I once worked at the old Cenex south of the railroad tracks in Litchfield in the mid ’70 `s. There was a Bill Wimmer that I worked with there. He was a wild and crazy guy, we had a lot of fun working together! Sorry to hear of his passing.
