Obituary
“Willis L. Wolff, born May 14, 1922, son of Victor and Frances Wolff. Willis farmed the family farm with his father due to his father’s poor health. In 1935, arrangement was made to have Christian convention on the farm yard; this was once a year in the Fall. This was a great privilege for me to make it possible, because it was four special days of drawing close to God and hearing spiritual truth to feed the Soul.” (written by Willis Wolff)
In 1948, Willis and Minnetta (Timm) were married. To this union were born Lois Pace of St. Paul, Minnesota, Marilyn Wolter of Elko, Minnesota, and Jean Wolff of Bloomington, Minnesota. He enjoyed his years of farming and selling Pioneer Seed corn. He loved keeping things simple. In 1979, his wife Minnetta died from cancer. In 1980, Willis married Hazel Quick, and in the summer of 1987 they moved to Hutchinson to enjoy their retirement. After moving to Hutchinson, Willis enjoyed fishing, and visiting many people, both young and old, and enjoyed everyone. After his stroke he was home a while, but needed more help, so a move into a one-level home was made. They relocated to Burnsville in February of 2014 to be close to the girls. They hosted Sunday morning meetings, and Willis enjoyed all who came. He always enjoyed the time he could spend with family and friends.
