Willis Miller, age 102, of Hutchinson, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017, at Ecumen Pines in Hutchinson, Minnesota.
A private family service will be held with interment in the Oakland Cemetery in Hutchinson.
Obituary
Willis Frederick Miller was born on June 28, 1915, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. He was the son of Otto and Martha (Popp) Miller. Willis was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth. He received his education in District 79 Country School and attended Hutchinson High School.
On June 28, 1940, Willis was united in marriage to Audrey Osgood at Bethlehem United Methodist Parsonage in Hutchinson. This marriage was blessed with three daughters, Judith, Jeanne, and Susan. Willis and Audrey resided in Hutchinson their entire lives. They shared 63 years of marriage together until Audrey passed away on June 1, 2004.
Willis was a lifelong farmer. He and Audrey raised their children and farmed in rural Hutchinson. He retired from farming and they moved into Hutchinson in 1980. After retirement, he drove school bus for the Hutchinson School District for many years.
Willis was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church.
Willis enjoyed hunting and fishing, he enjoyed reading a good book and also woodworking. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends.
Willis passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017, at Ecumen Pines in Hutchinson, Minnesota, at the age of 102 years.

Nieces, Nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Willis is preceded in death by his Parents, Otto and Martha Miller; Wife, Audrey Miller; Brother, Leonard Miller, (Leonard’s Wife, Helen Miller, Daughter, Marjorie Ann and his Second Wife, Miriam Miller); Great Granddaughter, Julia Grace Myhre.
